This year Easter is EGGSTRA early – We don’t want you to miss out, with properties filling up fast now is a great time to book your family holiday.

Also you may be pleased to hear many of our properties are now accepting a short break stay so you have no excuse not to get away - even just for a couple of nights. Once booked sit back, relax and start planning what you are going to get up to on your holiday in Norfolk. We have a wide variety of excellent family friendly attractions across the county to visit, over the Easter break many have extra activities going on for you to enjoy. Events over Easter

Friday 25th March – Sunday 10th April 2016 – Dinosaur ParkHave a cracking time at this fantastic park with dinosaur trails, play areas, crazy golf, an animal garden, face painting, Jurassic sky-wire, and there will be some extra special Easter themed events taking place.  

Friday 25th March – Monday 28th March 2016 – Broads Tours Departure 11.30am & 2pmJoin Broads Tours this Easter for a very special Broads trip! Children can take part in an on board nature quiz, Easter egg hunt and colouring & drawing competitions. Plus all children will receive an Easter Egg.

Friday 25th March – Sunday 10th April 2016 – Easter Eggstravagansa at PensthorpeLeap like a frog, hop like a hare and get bug eyes as you weave your way around the reserve on a self-guided trail unearthing facts about enchanting species that share our natural world. Finish your day running wild as you swoop, soar and burrow your way around WildRootz – its great fun for any age!

Friday 25th March – Monday 28th March 2016 – Holkham Easter FunMeet Easter bunny in the hall, join in Easter crafts or meet the Kiddy Cook team to decorate some tasty Easter treats. Then after a trip on the Easter Express, head over to the walled garden where you will find a storyteller and a host of Easter themed arts & crafts activities for the children to enjoy.

Saturday 26th March – Monday 28th March 2016 - Oxburgh Hall Set off on an adventure around the grounds. Hunt for the clues that the Easter bunny has left behind, solve the clues to claim your chocolaty prize.

Friday 25th March 2016 - 11am – 4pm - Fairhaven Woodland & Water GardenHunt for colourful eggs that will lead you to a chocolatey eggy prize! Plus face painting and Easter crafts for children.

Saturday 19th March - Sunday 10th April 2016 - BeWilderwood Bouncing Boggle Bunny Egg HuntBeWILDerwood is getting ready for a very special Easter 2016 with the launch of a wonderful little book ‘Pesky Bunnies of BeWILDerwood’ written by Tom Blofeld. Cedric, the inimitable Easter bunny, is making his way to the woods to meet you, and the Twiggle Team are putting on a Boggle bunny-bouncing bonanza.Follow a bunny themed trail, bound down the bunny tunnel and meet Cedric in the Big Egg. Bounce your way out through the hippity hop with a little Easter gift and settle down to hear the tales of Cedric and his friends at the story-telling stage. Visit the Big Hat and make your own ever-so-bonny Boggle bunny outfit. Get your face decorated with a pink or black nose and some wonderfully wiggly whiskers.

Friday 25th March – Sunday 10th April 2016 - RSPB Strumpshaw 10am – 5pm For a magical day of wildlife encounters, head to Strumpshaw Fen. Experience an adventure and take part in a self-guided family trail running throughout the Easter holiday.  Follow the clues and take part in challenges for an egg-citing prize!  

Sunday 27th March – Monday 28th March 2016 – Bressingham Whether your passion is gardens, steam, exhibits or rides Bressingham has something for all. Peppa Pig will be making personal appearances at intervals on each day. There will also be a Childrens Entertainer onsite and Zoo-Tatsic with their small petting zoo.

Friday 25th March – Monday 28th March 2016 - Blickling Estate The Easter bunny has been snuffling around the garden, leaving clues. To find the chocolatey treasure at the end, you'll need to find some places that are really secret in Lord Lothian's garden, before heading down to explore the lake-side. Getting mucky is all part of the fun!

Monday 28th March 2016 – Fakenham Racecourse – Family Fun RacedayCome enjoy this popular family fun day – meet the Easter bunny plus there are lots of activities to keep the little ones entertained. Gates open 11am and first race starts at 2.15pm.

Friday 25th March – Monday 28th March 2016 – Bure Valley RailwayFor a day out for all the family hop on board the Easter Eggspress at the Bure Valley Railway. Norfolk's longest Narrow Gauge Steam Railway is giving a free Easter Egg to every child when accompanied by a fare-paying adult. In addition, a colouring corner and a decorated Whistlestop Café add to the Easter themed event. Trains will be running from both Aylsham and Wroxham Stations. Trains depart from Aylsham: 10:00, 11:30, 12:40, 14:20 and 15:30; Wroxham: 11:10, 12:40 and 14:00. No prior booking is required.
