Rest and recharge at this delightful brick and flint cottage for four in the unspoilt Norfolk village of Gresham. You’ll have easy access to walking trails directly from the front door, along quiet lanes and through woodland, and you’ll also be within easy reach of the coast (the popular seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham are within 5 miles). After a day of adventure, snuggle up by the wood burner or enjoy a sundowner in the pretty garden.

Open the gate and walk through the cottage garden to the front door. Inside, a warm welcome awaits in this characterful property, which is bursting with period features and homely touches. The cosy lounge has a beamed ceiling, warming wood burner, and a selection of vibrant seating to relax on after a day of exploring. From here, wander through to the bright kitchen/diner, where you’ll find everything you need to create tasty dishes for the group, and a dining table for sharing mealtimes together. Upstairs, two delightful bedrooms await, along with the family bathroom. To the front of the cottage is a beautiful, enclosed garden. The space is laid to lawn, bordered by attractive plants and flowers, and has a patio area for al fresco dining.

The traditional seaside town of Cromer is just 5 miles away, and boasts a long, sandy beach. Enjoy an ice cream and a stroll along the esplanade, relive your childhood on a trip to the arcades, or perhaps catch one of the variety shows at the end of the pier. The area is awash with fascinating National Trust properties, such as Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall (both within 10 miles), where you’ll find sweeping parklands and waymarked walking trails to explore. For shopping and eating out, head into the picturesque market town of Holt (9.5 miles).

This cottage was immaculate - clean as a new pin, and with every modern convenience: the owners had thought of everything that a visitor would need, and then some! The contents are of an excellent quality and the bathroom was squeaky clean, which is always nice. Lucy & Paul had left us a cheery note, and some immediate groceries, and some tasty bisRead morecuits and including some treats for Bess - with a couple of poo bags, very thoughtful!! We would definitely love to visit again, as the location and ambience are perfect. The garden is not totally dog secure, a dog could escape by going through the side gap and through the wire fence. Luckily it is a very quiet road. Thank you for your lovely review, from your feedback the owners have sorted the fencing in the garden to make it secure. Hide
