A peaceful location on the edge the River Ant in Stalham Staithe. Local amenities such as shops and pubs can be found at nearby Stalham, just 1 mile from the cottage. The sandy beaches at Sea Palling are just 4 miles away, whilst the traditional seaside resorts of Cromer (17.5 miles) and Great Yarmouth (16.5 miles) offer excellent family days out. Other attractions within walking or short driving distance from the accommodation include the Norfolk Broads Museum which is less than 0.25 miles away – a great way to discover the history of boating and The Norfolk Broads. Don’t miss a trip to BeWILDerwood, a tree-top adventure in Horning, which is the perfect way to spend time if you have young children. If you fancy a day in the city, Norwich (16 miles) is worth your while. Weavers Way runs through Stalham and provides good walking and cycling opportunities.

This welcoming, waterside cottage provides ample living space for friends and family to enjoy each other’s company. Step inside and you’ll feel instantly at home with a handy porch area for storing those wet or muddy items. The lounge offers comfortable seating for all where you can unwind in front of the open fire while a film plays on the Smart TV, or perhaps appreciate some quiet reading time. Allow the designated chef to become acquainted with the well-equipped kitchen, and either fill up on a full English fry-up around the breakfast table before you head out for the day, or gather your loved ones in the dining room to feast over drawn out evening meals around the large dining table. A cloakroom completes the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find four neat bedrooms including a king-size with an en-suite shower room and another king-size, both with views of the river. There are two twin bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a separate WC.

Outside, is an enclosed garden at the rear of the property with a lawn and patio area. Just the spot to bask in the sunshine and enjoy alfresco dining. At the front of the property, the grounds run right up to the edge of the River Ant. The cottage is nestled within the owner’s boatyard, where daily motor launches are available for private hire. River fishing is also available right on the doorstep (seasonal and licence required).
