Settle into this stylish and bright fisherman’s cottage in a Norfolk seaside village, with a homely open-plan living space with a warming wood burner, plus a delightful lawned garden with mature trees and shrubs. Take your small family or the other half to try out the local restaurants, stroll along the seafront past the colourful beach huts and explore the surrounding Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Unwind with your loved ones in the sociable open-plan lounge/diner with neutral tones, a hint of a gentle coastal theme and plenty of natural light flooding through the large sash windows. Put your feet up on the sofa or sink into the armchairs in front of the wood burner and TV. Gather around the dining table with chairs to enjoy a meal together. Continue into the sunroom/kitchen with a French door which opens onto the garden, and a breakfast table. Also on the ground floor is a wet room. Upstairs, you’ll find a family bathroom plus two bedrooms – a king-size and bunk bedroom. Outside is an enclosed garden with a lawn, patio, furniture and a BBQ.

During your stay in the coastal village of Mundesley near the park (300 metres), you’ll have cosy cafes, boutique shops and seafood restaurants within 0.5 miles. Start your day with a dip in the sea at Mundesley Beach (less than 0.5 miles) and take advantage of the nearby golf course (0.5 miles). Head to Trimingham Beach (1.5 miles) in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for some solitude and walk along the scenic Sidestrand and Trimingham Cliffs path (3 miles).

Janeiro is a warm, well equipped cottage, beautifully furnished with the benefit of a garden and off road parking. Mundersley beach is just a short walk through a park, village centre and bus stops located at the end of Victoria Road. Fantastic location for a cottage, easy walking distance from the beach and local amenities. Able to walk for miles along the beach to either Cromer or Happisburgh with the option of the return journey or catching the bus back. Local shops provided all you can need to be self-catered, range of take-away places, a Tesco Express up the road or the ShiRead morep Inn for a nice selection of good food. Beautifully presented cottage with all that you could need. Well equipped kitchen, with provision of washing-up and dish washer detergents. Loved the selection of available books, games and DVDs. Comfortable beds. Linen and towels smelt divine. Wood burner was easy to light and warmed downstairs in no time at all. Garden looked good but we didn't really utilise given the time of year for our visit. Spacious dining room table in an open plan area was really quite lovely for leisurely breakfast and evening dinners. Driveway was big enough for 2 cars however access could be challenging depending on what cars were parked on the lane. Reversing in seemed the easiest way. No Wi-Fi in the cottage but there are lots of establishments that provide it. Mobile signal was patchy. Neither of which were a problem and we were still able to use phones as required without too much extra data usage. Hide

Excellent property well equipped and in great location the house is extremely well looked after You do have a parking space which can be tight so a large car could be harder to park in the the space. at the present time there is no wifi but that didn't bother us to much ( nice to escape)

Parking was a major problem not mentioned on your website when we booked, also, there was no Wi-Fi which in this day and age was very disappointing

Janeiro was a lovely cottage just 5 minutes walk to a lovely Sandy beach. Easy self check in via a key safe which is really helpful. The cottage was really clean and very well equipped - everything you could possibly want in the Kitchen. Super warm cottage so we didn't get to use the fire. Lots of books, DVDs and games to use. We have stayed in a few cottages in Mundesley, Janiero is definitely our favourite due to its location and size of garden. It is also very well equipped. The owners, who live locally, were also very friendly and helpful and replaced the broken TV with a new one the same day we reported it!

Parking on the drive was difficult, when i managed to squeeze the car on the gravel drive it was difficult to get out of the car as the bushes need to be cut back, they were also covered in green fly which got on my clothes as i pushed past between them and the car. The road is very narrow so if you park on the road the car has to be right up agaiRead morenst the wall of the house. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom spacious with lots of storage. I liked the 2 bathrooms with a choice of bath or shower. The kitchen was well equipped. The whole cottage was spotless and comfortable. Details of how to get in was given with lots of time. Hide
