Escape to this cheerful two-bedroom property in Mundesley, on the East Norfolk coastline. Overlooking the village green and just 800 metres from the beach it’s an ideal home-from-home for a small family wanting easy access to the seaside and all amenities.

Pleasant furnishings and splashes of colour sweep through the ground floor creating a welcoming atmosphere. After a day on the beach, brush the sand from your feet and relax in the spacious lounge. Drenched in natural light from the French doors, it’s the perfect room to socialise in, watch a film, or enjoy a meal at the family table with seating for four people. For a more casual bite-to-eat step through to the separate kitchen where you’ll find a small table and every appliance you’ll need for a comfortable stay. When the day draws to an end, head upstairs and choose between a king-size and twin bedroom. Both bedrooms are light and breezy and adorned with homely comforts including bedside lighting, plump cushions, and artwork on the walls. The king-size room also boasts sea views and an en-suite shower. A family bathroom is also on this floor. In the morning, head outside and enjoy an al fresco breakfast on the patio or simply relax on a lounger and bask in the sun on the lawn.

From the property, you can walk over a footbridge and along a path down to Mundesley Beach (800 metres). This beach is a good spot for a swim and is backed by pretty cliff-top gardens. Further afield, enjoy a family day out at Amazona Zoo in Cromer (8 miles), or head to the seaside town of Sheringham (12 miles) and jump on the steam train to the Georgian town of Holt.

Samphire Cottage was in an excellent location for us, walking distance to the beach & pub. The property was fitted out to a high standard, we couldn't fault it and will certainly book again.

This was the perfect location for our autumnal break - warm and cosy and just a few minutes' walk from the sea. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped with good parking and a quiet, relaxing location. Would certainly recommend.

Great location, 10 mins from beach. Very comfortable modern property and very well equipped with everything you might need. Good base for that part of Norfolk. Shops and pub within walking distance. Easily lived up to our expectations and would be happy to recommend it.

A lovely modern cottage in a very quiet location. All mod cons....and there was even tea, coffee and a pint of fresh milk when we arrived....easy walk to the sea...10 mins max....the perfect base from.which to explore the surrounds of Mundesley, whether walking, cycling (hire them in the village) or by car...
