Horning is nestled alongside the River Bure in the heart of The Broads National Park. A holiday here offers great variety for all ages, with visits to nature reserves, fishing, walks, sailing, kayaking and canoeing are some of the attractions to enjoy from the apartment itself. Close by is the lively village of Wroxham where a steam train ride will take you along the Bure Valley to Aylsham. The coastal stretch between Sea Palling and Winterton-on-Sea is under half an hour away and offers wide stretches of sandy beaches often unpopulated, even in the summer. The cultural delights of Norwich are also within easy reach, making Horning an all year round holiday location.
We will return! The bed is extremely comfortable and the shower matches a very good hotel shower. The owner is absolutely lovely and the food in her cafe - deli is exceptional. If you like the privacy of a quality apartment but the luxury of going out (downstairs) to eat this is the place for you!
Pleasant and informative staff made booking easy and all communications came as promised. Property was everything it was advertised as being. Location handy for many other places of interest. Private parking was a huge asset.
Very comfy. We settled in straight away.
Excellent property in the heart of a lovely village. Claire the owner and staff in The Galley also made for a welcoming stay. Must be good we have already booked again for next year making that 3 years running.
We loved staying at The Crows Nest & hope to return!
The holiday property was superb, everything we needed for a lovely week's break.
Have visited several times and always look forward to going back. Property is always spotlessly clean and the views are some of the best in the broads.
Excellent property - fantastic location with views over the Broads, and walking distance to restaurants, cafes etc. Perfectly equipped property - including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, together with fridge freezer and cooker. All the linen and towels were of excellent quality, and the whole apartment was beautifully designed and was new and modern. Thank you, we will be booking again!
Lovely little flat overlooking the broads. Very nicely decorated and furnished. Highly recommend.
We had an amazing bank holiday weekend staying at this property! The cottage was beautiful and finished to a very high standard. The location is perfect and the host was lovely.
