Horning is nestled alongside the River Bure in the heart of The Broads National Park. A holiday here offers great variety for all ages, visit local nature reserves, try your hand at fishing, walk through stunning countryside, or hire craft for sailing, kayaking or canoeing to other parts of The Broads network, stop on the way and picnic on the banks of the river. Visit the bustling village of Wroxham whilst you are here and take a steam train ride along the Bure Valley to Aylsham, go on market day if you can. The coastal stretch between Sea Palling and Winterton-on-Sea is under half an hour away and offers wide stretches of sandy beaches often unpopulated, even in the summer and the cultural delights of Norwich are also within easy reach, making Horning an all year round holiday location.

Lovely little property located in beautiful village of Horning. Easy distance of Norwich & great sandy beaches.

Mrs Deborah J,

We have stayed at this cottage several times. It is the cleanest and most well equipped place we have been to in Norfolk. We are looking forward to going back again.

Mrs Pauline C,

A lovely well presented property in a lovely location. Cottage had everything we needed for our stay and the welcome pack was a lovely gesture, and well received after a long journey. The cottage was presented to a high standard and had everything we needed right down to a picnic box and ice packs. The cottage has had a recent new kitchen and refurbished bathroom, both done to a high standard. If you are into a bit of fishing the cottage is ideal spot. Very quiet spot to sit and just relax the day away. Cottage is close to all amenities and central to the broads attractions. I would recommend this cottage without hesitation.

Mr R B,

We really enjoyed our stay in Horning. The location was ideal and we had some great days out. We particularly enjoyed the walks at How's Hill and Whitlingham Country Park. We have a dog and almost all the places we visited accepted dogs. The Southern Comfort boat trip at Horning is also really worth doing, it was very relaxing and informative.

Mrs caroline M,
