Set in the beautiful Wensum Valley, Lenwade is situated ten miles northwest of Norwich. There are a good variety of village shops, including a general store, hairdressers and a riverside pub which serves meals throughout the day . Lenwade's most famous residents are dinosaurs but these are safely contained in the well-known Dinosaur Park. The area is ideal for walking or cycling, the Marriotts Way passes along the edge of the village so why not leave the car at home and cycle to Norwich or explore the unspoilt countryside, villages and small market towns such as Reepham and Aylsham. The area is also a favourite with birdwatchers, Pensthorpe, a former BBC Springwatch location is only fifteen minutes drive from the village and RSPB Titchwell and Snettisham are also within easy reach.
