Lyng is a rural village situated in the heart of Norfolk. It is part of The Wensum Valley, named after the river, which flows through the picturesque countryside and provides excellent fishing opportunities. Horse riding is available in the village, which also has a shop and a pub. The area is great for both cycling and walking, with a network of country lanes, and Sparham Pools Nature Reserve is close by and provides excellent walks and bird watching. The fine city of Norwich is just thirteen miles away and there are many attractions in the area to suit all ages.

Reviews

We can highly recommend this cottage in Lyng. Ideally situated opposite the local pub and close to the church and local shop. This property lived up to expectations, was very clean and the owner even provide a blanket, bowl and poo bags for our dog, a really thoughtful gesture as was the welcome basket.

Mrs Shelagh D,

Church Cottage in Lyng more than lived up to expectations. We have had a wonderful week there, it was spotlessly clean with the added bonus of an essentials welcome basket. The owner even provided dog towels, dog bowl and a supply of poo bags, most unexpected. The cottage was just right, cosy with the right atmosphere and right opposite the pub as well, heaven no cooking. Please pass on these comments to the owner. For a week we found a little piece of heaven in Norfolk

The Dickson Party,

Lovely holiday property. Everything to hand. Owner attentive in terms of checking the heating was sufficient for a colder snap - was impressed by this. If reholidaying in Norfolk would happily rebook.

Mr Peter C,

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location
