The Chatters is a modern, deceptively spacious property with extensive views over farmland to the rear. Extremely well equipped and comfortable, the accommodation is light, airy and very appealing. The house benefits from a lovely sitting room and a separate kitchen/dining room both of which overlook the garden to the countryside beyond. The attractive garden overlooks fields where hares, pheasants and kites are frequently spotted. The garden has a raised area close to the house, which is ideal for wildlife watching and dining al fresco on warmer days. Comfortable bedrooms complete the picture and this is an ideal holiday house for couples or friends holidaying together. Shop: 1 mile Pub: 0.25 miles

Sculthorpe is located just one mile from the market town of Fakenham, which has plenty of facilities including a weekly market, cinema, bowling centre and retail shops. The house is only eight miles from the popular North Norfolk coast, much of which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sculthorpe village has a fabulous fenland Nature Reserve, which is home to the Hawk and Owl Trust; the whole site is accessed via a Broadwalk and is a super place to observe a wide variety of bird and wildlife. National Cycle Route 2 runs through the village and the surrounding quiet lanes, eventually ending at Wells-next-the-Sea. The Georgian town of Burnham Market is a popular village to explore; on the way, drive through North Creake and explore the Abbey ruins and Creake Abbey Farm Shop and Cafe. The Holkham estate is one of only a few privately owned estates in the country and a visit to the Hall, Deer Park and its spectacular beach makes a great day out.
Possibly the best holiday property we have ever stayed in! The interior in particular was exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of equipment (but not too much, some kitchens are horribly cluttered) in the immaculate kitchen, and it's testament to the care put in by the lovely owners that even the cutlery drawers were tidy, well organised and absolutely spotless. It was an absolute pleasure to come 'home' to this warm and tidy property after a day out in Norfolk. We would love to stay here again. Please pass our thanks to the owners for offering such a wonderful home from home.
Super place all round and a very helpful and pleasant owner. Great outlook to rear and quiet part of the world. Great space for 4 adults and easy parking for 2 or 3 cars.
