Briston is a thriving village and the perfect starting point for a North Norfolk holiday. The surrounding countryside is great for walking, cycling, riding and birdwatching, which can be found in and around the many quiet lanes in this area. Venture a little further afield to discover the delightful Georgian town of Holt with its cafe culture, art and antique galleries and eclectic shopping. From here you can also take the small gauge steam railway on the coastal line to the lovely seaside town of Sheringham or take the car to the Victorian cliff top coastal town of Cromer with its famous pier, sandy beach and traditional seaside attractions. Visit Sheringham Park, which offers beautiful views down to the coast and history buffs will enjoy both Felbrigg Hall and Blicking Hall, now run by the National Trust. There is so much to do from the doorstep, you will be spoilt for choice but we think you will be going home with some very happy memories.
