East Runton lies on the A149 coast road between the resorts of Sheringham and Cromer. A slipway leads down to the beach where at low tide there is a wide expanse of flat sand perfect for a bracing walk, building sandcastles or playing ball games. Away from the coast is a cluster of traditional brick and flint cottages, and an attractive green and duck pond. Within the village are several small shops, two pubs and a restaurant serving meals. The area has many footpaths and the coastal path links West Runton and Cromer, which has an award winning pier, the end of the pier summer show is not to be missed.
Wow! What wonderful weather, how lucky we have been. Thank you we have really enjoyed staying in your lovely, homely house. A fabulous area to explore, the dogs don't want to go home!
Our second visit to this little gem. We have had a great time and very lucky with the weather. Hope to be back soon.
