Escape to this typically Norfolk brick and flint cottage at the heart of the village of North Creake. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom, dog-friendly hideaway dates back to Victorian times and still boasts a wealth of features, as well as a garden. Situated 3 miles from Burnham Market, known fondly as North Norfolk’s Chelsea-on-Sea and with an array of independent shops and eateries, it is 7 miles from spectacular Holkham Beach.

Take two steps up and enter to find exquisitely decorated accommodation. Light the wood burner in the beamed lounge on chilly days then settle back to watch the Smart TV. Amble through to the garden room/diner in warmer weather to open the French windows and unwind on the comfortable seating in here instead or to gather round the table for holiday meals. The well-equipped kitchen is also downstairs, together with a family bathroom and a games room, where you can challenge each other on the pool table. There is a sofa bed in the games room that can be made up if discussed at booking. When you are ready to retire for the night, climb the stairs to the first floor to a king-size bedroom, a double and a small 4’ double, suitable for one adult only. There is also a family shower room here. Watch the children and pets play out on the grass on fine days and enjoy dining in the sunshine. There is parking for one car with this cottage.

Swim, paddle and picnic at Holkham Beach, which has famously appeared as a backdrop in many well-known movies. Beautiful Brancaster Beach, 8.5 miles away, is also popular with families. Spend your afternoons in Wells-next-the-Sea, 6 miles away, pottering in the shops, crabbing from the quay and enjoying the beach, which is 1 mile out of town.

A comfy cottage in a great location with easy parking. It had everything that we needed and it suited us with two young dogs and a toddler. A welcome basket of local items was a nice surprise.

No matches/lighter available, as a consequence we were not able to use the fireplace. I was expecting the travel cot to be ready to use, we arrived late and i had to look inside all cupboards to find the travel cot, and open it while my baby woke up. A very small detail but worth giving the feedback!

Bridge Cottage in North Creake was perfect for a short break with 2 dogs. Very well equipped and comfortable including the beds! Good location for exploring nearby Norfolk and useful to have a friendly pub, the Jolly Farmer, within a 200 meter walk.

Excellently positioned Cottage in a lovely North Norfolk village, close to all the beautiful beaches and walks of the area. With Creake Abbey, Burnham Market and the Jolly Farmers (village pub) just minutes away this well equipped Cottage is ideal for a relaxing Norfolk holiday
