Retaining much of its original character, this charming Georgian cottage is as calming and as quaint as they come, situated in the picturesque village of Docking, surrounded by unspoilt countryside, just moments from dunes, saltmarshes and sandy beaches lining the irresistible North Norfolk coastline.

Perfectly reflecting the nearby coastline through its coastal décor, you won’t be leaving behind your sandy surrounding for long as you hunker down for the evening on the plush sofas in the cosy lounge and unwind weary walking muscles beside the roaring wood burner-effect electric fire. Head into the contemporary farmhouse-style kitchen/diner to rustle up a feast with the local market produce you’ve collected and enjoy making special family memories seated around the rustic dining table. As day turns to dusk, climb the cottage staircase to find two beautifully presented bedrooms that both feature a soothing palette of coastal colours downstairs that’ll send you into a peaceful doze before tomorrow’s adventure. Catch sunrise or sunset as you dine alfresco in the quaint front garden featuring a shingle path, patio and wonderful views.

Standing on the highest point in north-west Norfolk, the pretty village of Docking is surrounded by unspoilt countryside to explore on foot, on two wheels or with four-legged friends in tow; steeped in history dating back to Roman times, whet your appetite for the local area by exploring their weekly Wednesday farmers market to pick up some fabulous local produce. Pack a picnic and head to the coast for a traditional bucket and spade day at the gloriously sandy stretches at Brancaster (5.5 miles), Hunstanton (8 miles) and Holkham (10.5 miles). The King's country residence at Sandringham and the spectacular stately homes of Houghton Hall and Holkham Hall can be reached within 10.5 miles.

Beautiful and quaint little cottage, clean and comfortable beds for a good nights sleep. Quiet location, so perfect for that getaway from work. Numerous local walks and coast just a few miles away for fish and chips. Wildlife in abundance - an absolute beautiful place to stay - would love to come back but its fully booked for months !!

If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is the perfect property for you. It is cosy and beautifully furnished with an incredibly comfortable bed and the cottage garden is gorgeous. It is in an ideal location for numerous wildlife watching activities and the pub down the road is very good too!
